The Alps are the highest and most extensive mountain range system that lies entirely in Europe, and stretching approximately 1,200 kilometres across eight Alpine countries: France, Switzerland, Monaco, Italy, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, and Slovenia.

Why The Alps?
Destination Matterhorn. The Matterhorn mountain of the Alps straddles the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. It’s near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the extended Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe. Zermatt is the highest and largest all-round ski area in the world, guaranteed snow 365 days of the year!
This Easter Bank Holiday we’ll be doing a four day run down to the Swiss Alps, staying in the Alpine Ski Resort of Zermatt, on the Swiss-Italian Border.
You’ll be responsible for your own costs:
Folkestone Hotel Thurs Night: £50-£80
Zermatt Hotel 2 Nights: £275 (assuming 2 ppl)
Dijon Hotel Mon Night: £80-£100
Total per car excluding Food & Fuel: £602
Bring a friend, a wife, or a husband and that’s only £301 each!

This will be suitable for any modern Land Rover but you must have Snow Tyres, they will need to be Three Peak with the Snowflake symbol on the side.
